Confirmation Year 1 students

Confirmation Year 1 is for 8th graders or older and will be confirmed January 2027. Exact date to be determined.

Students attend our weekly small group sessions and participate in community activities and service projects.

Confirmation Year 2 students

Confirmation Year 2 is for those who have completed Confirmation year 1. They will be confirmed January 18, 2026.

At the 11:00am Mass.  Students attend our weekly Youth Group sessions and participate in community activities and service projects.  There will also be a make up retreat on January 4th, 2026 at 12pm.

In Need of Service Hours? 

There are many opportunities for hours here at church and within the Port Orange community. Need more information, contact Maureen Kealhofer. Below are ongoing service opportunities available:


  • Children's Faith Formation: Substitutes and Assistants needed. Contact Gina Benedetto.

  • Thrift Store- Store help. Contact the Thrift Store at (386) 767-0571


  • Being a Minister at Mass: Receive service hours for being a Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server, and Ushering during Mass. Check out the ministry section of the bulletin to contact the appropriate ministry head, to sign up.


  • Youth Orchestra/Choir at 9 AM Mass: Do you have a God-given musical talent? Then share it with the community as God intended you to do! Contact, our Director of Music and Liturgy, in the Parish Office at 788-6144.


  • Kitchen Help: Bingo, Thursday nights, Coffee and doughnuts, Sunday mornings. Contact John or Chiquita Rodgers in the parish office at 788-6144 or the Parish Center. A limited number of teen helpers are needed each week.


  • Knights of Columbus Dinner Dance: October, in the Parish Center Hall. Contact Maureen Kealhofer.
