Father Matt's Corner

Dear Friends in Christ,

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask what you will and you shall get it. It is to the glory of my Father and you should bear much fruit, and then you will be my disciples.”

Jesus made it quite clear that apart from Him we can do nothing is why we always must stay close to Him by obeying the commandments prayer and participation in the sacramental life. Apart from Him we cannot do anything but with Him and His help we can do many great things and great fruit in his name. Our Lord made it clear that we were to go and make disciples. As we are coming out of this pandemic we are also praying and discerning about the best strategy for fellowship, education and evangelization. The Parish Picnic was a great example of Ways to further engage the parish and to socialize with one another. Let us pray for one another that we bear much fruit in His name. He ascends to the Father to take his rightful place. Jesus Humbled himself by becoming man and now having instructed the church he proceeds to the Father before the spirit is sent.

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Fr. Matt
