OUR LADY OF HOPE MUSIC MINISTRY
There is a long tradition of excellent choral and liturgical music at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church
and we are pleased to invite new singers and instrumentalists to maintain our traditions.
Have you thought about joining one of Our Lady of Hope’s choirs or music ensembles? If so, please
consider joining as an active member this fall. Singers are needed in all sections: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and
Baritone/Bass. Middle and High School students who are active in band, orchestra, or the choral program at
their school are encouraged to join us.
Many people think (wrongly) that they “cannot” sing. There is nothing like standing among more
experienced singers and finding your own voice. Everyone has their own voice and their own song to sing.
Let us help you find your voice.
Come and join the music ministry and experience the music, the fellowship and the humor of the
group. You will truly be a worship leader and will be making a difference to the spiritual lives of others and
to your own growth and well-being. And, the breathing is good for your health!
Ensembles include: 9:00 a.m. Celebration Choir, 11:00 a.m. Lyric Choir, Bells of Hope Bell Choir,
Cantor Ministry, Children's Choir, Festive Choir, Festive Orchestra, Ladies Resurrection Choir, Liturgical
Dance Ministry, Youth Brass & Woodwind Ensemble.
Choir Rehearsals begin after Labor Day on Wednesdays from 6:30pm until 8:45pm. The Youth
Brass\Woodwind Ensemble rehearses on Wednesday from 6:30pm until 7:30pm in the Choir room.
Bells of Hope Bell Choir rehearse on Tuesdays at 6:00m in the Fr. George Room in the Parish Office
Complex.
